The ‘Go Green’ Eco Club-Mission Life continued with the Earth Day celebrations for the second consecutive day, with a ‘TED Talk’. The school celebrated Earth Day, with a powerful TED Talk titled “Voices for the planet”, which involved a series of captivating student enactments. Class X students stepped into the shoes of renowned environmentalists and global icons, such as Jane Goodall, Wangari Maathai, Sunita Narain, Priyanka Chopra, Diljit Dosanjh and Barack Obama. These performances brought to life the words, struggles, and triumphs of those who have dedicated their lives to protecting the planet. The winners of the competition were Shaurya Jatyan, who enacted 15-year-old Master Aarav Seth, the founder of We Rise Together; Lavanya as Jane Goodall who dedicated her life to working for the chimpanzees; and Kanav as Ramesh Agarwal, the winner of the Goldman Environmental Prize. The consolation prize winners were Jannat as Priyanka Chopra and Vanisha as Dr Vandana Shiva.
