ECI Chalet Day School, Shimla, hosts cyber vigilance workshop

The school, in partnership with the Central Bank of India's Regional Office in Shimla, hosted a 'Cyber Vigilance Workshop and Drawing Competition'. The initiative is aimed at educating students on the critical importance of digital safety. Led by Uttam Chand, Chief Manager, Vigilance, ZO Chandigarh, the workshop provided students with crucial knowledge on how to identify and protect themselves from online threats such as phishing and fraud. The interactive session empowered the participants to become more responsible and cautious digital citizens. In a complementary event, a drawing competition was also held. Principal Vinita Sood and senior bank officials also attended the event. "We are delighted to have partnered with the Central Bank of India on this event. It provided them vital lessons on cyber safety. We believe that empowering our youth with such knowledge is essential for a safer future," the principal said. Nishant Basra, Chief Manager, RO Shimla, and Mohit Sharma, Rajbhasha Adhikari from the Central Bank of India also attended the event. They underscored the bank's commitment to community welfare and education beyond traditional banking services. Officials from the Central Bank of India also extended its gratitude to the school for their cooperation and support in making the event a great success.
