Emm Aar International School, Adampur
The school celebrated Vegetable Day. The event marked the beginning of Vegetable Week, aiming to instil the importance of nutritious eating habits among students. On Vegetable Day, a special assembly was conducted to highlight the significance of vegetables and their positive impact on our lives. The celebration brought together students from Nursery to Class III, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere that emphasised the benefits of a vegetable-rich diet. To further enhance the learning experience, the school organised a special exhibit of green leafy vegetables. This interactive display not only introduced students to various green vegetables but also promoted the values of healthy and nutritious eating. Students actively participated by purchasing fresh green vegetables and fruits, providing them with a practical lesson on the value of money and budgeting. Guided by their teachers, students learnt how to calculate the number of vegetables they could buy within their allotted budgets, fostering essential life skills. Director Principal Dr Ashish addressed the gathering, emphasising the vital role of green vegetables and fruits in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. They elaborated on the nutritional benefits of these foods and encouraged students to incorporate them into their daily diets.
