The school marked Vijay Diwas with a solemn and inspiring special assembly to honour the valiant soldiers who made supreme sacrifices for the nation. The event aimed to instil patriotism and gratitude among students while educating them about the significance of the day. The assembly featured a group of students — Yashika, Bedika, Aman, and Gurleen — who captivated the audience with a soulful patriotic song. Their performance resonated deeply with the spirit of the occasion. Amrit Miglani delivered a thought-provoking speech that highlighted the importance of Vijay Diwas and the valiant efforts of the Indian armed forces during the 1971 war, said Principal Dr Ashish. The event concluded with the principal addressing the students and encouraging them to contribute positively to the nation.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
