To spread awareness about environmental conservation, the school, in collaboration with Mahavir International Veera Centre, Nalagarh, organised a series of activities on the theme "Single-Use Plastic: A Serious Concern." The programme began with a welcome speech by Principal Mrs. Bindu, who greeted the President of Mahavir International Veera Centre Poonam Jain, Secretary Deepika Jain, member Anju Jain, and Director of Alpine Public School Prem Lata Joshi. The event was formally inaugurated with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Poonam Jain and Prem Lata Joshi. In their addresses, both dignitaries made the students aware of the harmful effects of single-use plastic and urged them to avoid its usage. Students highlighted the issues of pollution caused by plastic, its impact on marine life, and eco-friendly alternatives such as cloth bags, metal utensils, and biodegradable products through speeches and posters. The competitions saw enthusiastic participation from students. Winners were awarded certificates and prizes by the Rotary Club.
