Under the PM Shri Scheme, PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya No 2, Jalandhar Cantonment, organised two expert talks to enhance students’ academic outlook and career readiness. The first session was conducted by Dr Shefali from the Department of Communication Skills at Lovely Professional University. She spoke on “21st Century Skills”, highlighting the essential pillars of learning and success. The second talk was delivered by Pankaj Vij, Assistant Director and Zonal Head of Outreach Engagements at Lovely Professional University. His talk on “New Era Careers” guided students on the diverse opportunities available after Class XII across the arts, science, and humanities streams. He explained the importance of competitive examinations, skill-based courses, and emerging career paths, encouraging students to make informed choices about their future. Principal Ravindra Kumar expressed gratitude to the speakers for providing valuable perspectives and essential skills for life beyond the classroom.
