About the author: MAHNAZ MIR, 14, has been writing ever since she learnt how to, beginning from small notes to her parents, to letters, essays, articles and short stories, most of which have been published in newspapers and magazines for readers of her age. She has also won several interschool prizes for art and creative writing in English, and recently a bronze medal in the International Kangaroo Linguistic Contest 2019. Having visited the US, England, Canada, Turkey, Thailand, Scotland, Malaysia and the UAE with her family, she plans on using these experiences as inspiration for her forthcoming work.

About the author: SOWMYA RAJENDRAN has written for children of all ages, from picture books to young adult fiction and non-fiction. She won the Sahitya Akademi’s Bal Sahitya Puraskar for her novel Mayil Will Not Be Quiet along with her co-author Niveditha Subramaniam in 2015.
