The school football team delivered an outstanding performance, defeating Guru Harikrishan Public School with an impressive 3-0 win in the Zonal Football Tournament held at Dera Bassi. The players exhibited remarkable energy, coordination and determination, making the match an exciting and memorable event for all present. Their hard work and team spirit shone brightly on the field. Chairman Advocate Ravi Dutt Sharma and Director Dr Ruby Sharma congratulated the team on this achievement, appreciating the efforts of the players and coaches and encouraging them to continue participating in future tournaments and bringing more glory to the school. This victory has filled the Satluj fraternity with immense pride and joy.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
