The corridors of the school echoed with excitement as the winners of the Junior RJ Hunt Auditions embarked on an extraordinary journey — an exclusive visit to professional radio stations for a live recording experience. The auditions, open to young talent from across Tricity and North India, witnessed an overwhelming response from students eager to step into the world of radio. The selected winners were granted a golden opportunity to experience the thrill of being a radio jockey. During the visit, students entered the vibrant world of radio studios, interacted with the RJs, recorded their voiceovers and even hosted brief segments. The experience was not only educational but also deeply inspiring for these young communicators.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
