GD Goenka Public School, Mohali, hosted a captivating science exhibition, drawing participation from students across all grades. The campus was abuzz with excitement as young Goenkans showcased their innovative models, experiments and ideas, reflecting creativity and a strong scientific temperament. Even our Pre-Primary students impressed with their "Science Magic" demonstrations, featuring mesmerising experiments like colour changes and sink-or-float activities that delighted the audience. Parents attended the exhibition, engaging with the budding scientists and praising their efforts and confidence. Additionally, they were informed about the introduction of new co-curricular activities, shooting and equestrian, to the school's sports curriculum. The event proved to be a rewarding and enriching experience for the children, filled with joy, discovery and appreciation.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
