- Cut a rectangle of any size or use a ruler to measure out the dimensions and a light pencil to stencil out the shape.
- Fold the bottom edge up about 5 cm. Then fold both sides of the bag into the centre and glue them together. Then, fold the pieces at the bottom of the bag together. Now the bag is sealed.
- It’s a gift bag so decorate it with stickers, flowers and drawings, or painting or whatever else you want. Add handles using a hole puncher to make 2 holes at the top of the bag.
- Use clear tape or glue on the hole’s edges and fix the space. Slide the ends of your handle string or ribbon through the holes and make a knot on your handle string. Now its ready.
- Put some chocolates in it and gift it to your friend. You can carry light-weight things in this bag.
- Also, I tried making a home, a fan, a notebook, a geometry box using waste card board, a pencil stand, a small pink colour purse, a shopping bag with red ribbon looking fabulous. All these items were made using papers and waste material at home.
