The Trade and Book Fair 2024, organised by Gita Niketan Residential School, commenced on the school's main playground, led by commerce students of classes XI and XII. The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Prof Somnath Sachdeva, Vice-Chancellor of Kurukshetra University, who underscored the significance of practical education and urged students to seize such opportunities for both personal development and academic enrichment. Vijayant Bindal, an alumnus, entrepreneur and social activist, was the guest of honour. The fair showcased a wide array of stalls that captivated visitors' interest. Besides, there were numerous book stalls encompassing genres such as religion, business, science, astrology and literature. Various stalls exhibited innovative products and services, including handmade crafts, personalised stationery and creative business concepts, providing students with the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge to real-world trade and marketing scenarios.
