To mark World Environment Day, the Earther's Club organised an inspiring cycle rally under the theme "Putting an End to Plastic Pollution." The event aimed to promote eco-friendly modes of transport. The rally was inaugurated by Chairman S Gurdip Singh Chahal, Principal Dr Basundhara, and members of Bharat Vikas Parishad - Barkha Ram, Upesh Bansal and Parmod Kumar - who joined students and teachers in applauding the initiative. Participants cycled along a five-kilometre route through GBP, carrying placards and chanting slogans advocating clean air, reduced carbon emissions and sustainable living. Dr Basundhara remarked, "Cycling is not just exercise - it's a vital step towards a sustainable lifestyle." The event also featured a tree-planting drive as part of the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' initiative. The day concluded with an Environment Pledge, in which participants committed to adopting eco-friendly habits. Refreshments were provided to all, fostering a spirit of health and camaraderie.
