The school celebrated Lohri on its premises. Students gave speeches on the importance of Lohri. Bonafire was lit by students of the school. ‘Sunder Munderiye’ filled the environment with ecstasy. Through a speech, the story of Dullha Bhatti, a robber who helped the poor and needy, was narrated to the students. A vibrant folk dance added flavour to the celebration. Peanuts, rewari and gajak were distributed among the students. In the end, Chairman of the school Col CS Bawa (retd) congratulated the students and staff and advised them to ‘burn’ their evils in the fire of Lohri and live a life of truth and virtues.
