The 42nd National Taekwondo Championship was held in Haridwar in which Gurveer Kaur, a student of Class XII of the school, won gold medal as well as silver medal. As many as 1,500 players from across the country participated in the competition. The players representing Punjab won several medals in this competition. Gurveer Kaur of Golden Bells played in 55-59 weight category and won gold and silver medals and brought glory to her coach, school and parents. The student was honoured in the morning assembly of the school.
