‘Good touch vs bad touch’ workshop at Shishu Niketan Public School, Sec 5, MDC, Panchkula
The school organised an engaging and interactive workshop for students of classes II to V, conducted by Aprajita (counsellor). The workshop focused on the sensitive yet essential theme, “Good touch vs bad touch”. It aimed to promote awareness among young children about body safety, personal boundaries, and how to identify and report inappropriate behaviour. Through interactive activities, visuals, and open discussions, the facilitators created a safe space for students to learn and express themselves. The session empowered students to recognise safe and unsafe situations and reinforced the importance of speaking to trusted adults when needed. The initiative reflects the school’s dedication to providing not just academic excellence but also essential life skills and emotional well-being.
