The Dr Rabinder Nath Tagore Literary Club of the school organised an exciting and interesting ‘Literary Utsav’ in memory of renowned Punjabi poet Amrita Pritam. Inter-class competitions in short story writing, poetry writing, folk singing, paragraph writing on books and newspaper reading were conducted. Loveleen Kaur of Class IV was declared winner in poem writing, Manmeet Singh of Class VII in short story, Arshpreet Kaur of Class VI in folk singing and Sanpreet Kaur of Class VIII in paragraph writing. Gurdial Singh, former secretary of the Red Cross, presided over the function. Principal Amandeep Singh appreciated Harpreet Singh, patron of the club, and the participants. Director Principal Jasbinder Kaur distributed merit certificates to the winners.
