The school celebrated Republic Day with patriotic fervour and zest in the school as the children learnt about India’s political history, freedom struggle and the Constitution. In the morning, NSS volunteers escorted Principal Rupinder Kaur as she hoisted the national flag along with Vice-Principal Baljit Singh. The principal, teachers, school staff and students from different classes joined together in the singing of the national anthem. The principal gave a speech filled with patriotic fervour narrating the history of Republic Day. Some students even dressed up as freedom fighters. The principal congratulated the teachers and students for their active participation in making Republic Day a wonderful ceremony and celebration.
