Govt Model Sr Sec School, Sector 16, Chandigarh

Saksham Bharat Charitable and Education Society an NGO working in the field of promoting quality education to the girls and boys from the disadvantaged background, has sponsored education of underprivileged students of the school. Almost 150 children from various schools from the state of Haryana and UT Chandigarh have been covered under this noble initiative. On September 6, 2024, 15 students from GMSSS Sector 16, Chandigarh were brought under its umbrella and meritorious students scoring more than 90% marks were given cheques. Last month, 45 students of GMSSS Sec 12A , Sec 20 & Sec 26 Panchkula were extended financial aid and sports kits were provided to the national level participants in fencing and volleyball by the NGO.
