Blue Bird High School, Sector 16, Panchkula, observed Gratitude Day, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), in collaboration with Rotary Club Chandigarh Central. The celebration was designed to instil in young learners the importance of thankfulness and to nurture respect for the people and elements that enrich their lives. Students beautifully portrayed gratitude to God for divine blessings, nature for its life-giving resources, parents and grandparents for their unconditional love, teachers for their guidance, and people who help us with their tireless contributions to the society. The performance captivated the audience with its blend of emotions, expressions, and powerful messages, reminding everyone of the value of humility, respect, and kindness in everyday life. The event concluded with words of appreciation and encouragement from the past president Rtn HSSaggu, who attended the function and applauded for every child. School Principal Vandna appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers for spreading the noble message of gratitude. She emphasised that being thankful is a virtue that enriches one’s character and builds a harmonious society.
