Classrooms were beautifully decorated with green balloons, ribbons, creative artwork and informative charts, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. Both students and teachers came dressed in various shades of green, which added a refreshing charm to the day. The celebration featured engaging activities such as rhymes, vocabulary building and a tree plantation drive. Teachers explained the importance of planting trees and protecting our planet and demonstrated the life cycle of a plant. To promote healthy eating and environmental responsibility, sprouts and salads were prepared and shared with the children. Students enthusiastically took part in a variety of hands-on activities, including leaf printing, drawing, paper craft and planting saplings. These activities helped to reinforce the significance of greenery and environmental care. The event concluded with a heartfelt pledge by all to care for the environment and plant more trees. It was a joyful and educational experience that instilled in the children a deep respect for nature and a sense of responsibility towards preserving it.
