Guru Granth Sahib’s Pehla Parkash Utsav was celebrated in the school. A special assembly was organised. The assembly began with ‘shabad’ “Wah wah vani Nirankar” by students. Later, ‘shabad’, ‘Kirtan’, and ‘paths’ were performed by students and teachers. Director of the school Jaswant Singh congratulated the school staff and students on the occasion.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
