The school solemnly commenced the new academic session with a divine recitation of ‘Japji Sahib path’, seeking the blessings of the Almighty for a fruitful and prosperous year ahead. The sacred ceremony was attended by students, teachers, staff, and parents, fostering a spirit of devotion and positivity. The momentous event began with the melodious recitation of Japji Sahib and ‘Gurbani kirtan’, filling the atmosphere with peace and serenity. Students participated wholeheartedly, imbibing the values of Sikh teachings and spiritual wisdom. The spiritual ambience was set aglow by Manager Gurjeet Singh’s soulful rendition of ‘shabad’, infusing not only religious fervour but also nourishing and soothing every soul in attendance. The choir group of students also contributed to the profound experience by delivering soul-stirring ‘kirtan’, ‘shabads’, ‘ardas’ and ‘hukumnama’. Students demonstrated various ‘gatka’ feats. The performers showcased exceptional skill, agility, and coordination, bringing the ancient Sikh martial art to life with grace and intensity. President Surinder Singh Virdi eloquently emphasised the significance of Guru Granth Sahib and the need to tread the path of truth. Principal Kavita Atri expressed gratitude in her vote of thanks, acknowledging the unwavering dedication of both staff and students. The event concluded with ‘ardas’, followed by the distribution of ‘karah prasad’, spreading the message of unity and humility.
