Fun, frolic and gaiety came alive on the campus of the school when Teej was celebrated. The whole campus was decorated with items related to Teej. Students participated wholeheartedly in the fun-filled function. Principal Kavita Atri graced the occasion. The programme began with gidda on a beautiful Punjabi song presented by students of classes VI and VII. Traditional dances like bhangra and gidda were presented by students of classes VIII and IX. Students and teachers looked mesmerising in Punjabi attires with henna on their hands. The whole credit goes to Deep Singh for holding the stage in a wonderful manner. Principal Kavita Atri threw light on the importance of the celebration and even mentioned that Teej was primarily a festival celebrated in the northern and western part of India. She appreciated the performance of students. Certificates were given to the students who participated in the mehndi competition.
