Guru Nanak Foundation Public School, Chappar chiri, marked the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev with a series of spiritual and cultural activities that were filled with devotion and learning. The day began with Kindergarten students visiting the Gurdwara Sahib where they offered prayers and sought blessings. Classes I and II started their day with a serene and devotional atmosphere, reciting the Mool Mantra Jaap. Students of classes III-V participated in sakhi telling sessions, narrating stories from Guru Nanak Dev's life and teachings. An inter-house quiz competition on the life and teachings of Guru Nanak Dev was held for classes VI-VIII, while classes IX-XII students took part in an inter-house turban-tying competition, highlighting the significance of Sikh identity and traditions. The school's classrooms and corridors were beautifully decorated with quotes, teachings, and images related to Guru Nanak Dev. The Principal praised the students' enthusiasm in celebrating Gurpurb with sincerity and reverence.
