The school celebrated Teej. The celebration commenced with the recitation of a ‘shabad’ by the school choir. Then students were educated about the historical and cultural importance of Teej. Students from different classes showcased their talents through a series of cultural performances, including traditional dance, folk songs, and skits that highlighted the essence of Teej. Inter-house competitions were also conducted. Class III to V students recited poem on Teej, folk songs were sung by Class VI to VIII students and Class IX to XII students participated in a mehndi competition. One of the highlights of the event was a traditional ramp walk by students of classes XI and XII. Damanpreet of Class XII (cCommerce) was crowned ‘Ms Kaur’, whereas the title of ‘Mr Singh’ was grabbed by Arshdeep Singh of Class XII (commerce). Principal Poonam Sharma acquainted all with the ever-lasting effect of Punjabi culture.
