The installation ceremony of the Interact Club was held at the school. The ceremony was attended by Rotary Club president SP Ojha, along with other Rotarians. The programme commenced with musical rendition of the school ‘shabad’ by the school choir. The Rotarians decorated the newly appointed prefectural board with badges. Navsohal Singh Sandhu was appointed as the new Interact Club president and Dorin Bhinder as vice-president. The newly elected Interact committee promised to bring leadership into action with the pledge of ‘Service Above Self’. The Rotary president in his speech praised the school management and the office-bearers for conducting myriad of social activities, like breast cancer awareness, distribution of sanitary napkins in slums, donating books to the underprivileged, helping cancer patients, organising langar for the needy, tree plantation drives, rallies, poster making and declamation on environment conservation, visits to old age home, blind school, leprosy home, etc.
