The school celebrated Basant Panchami to mark the advent of the spring season. Yellow became the colour of the day as students came decked in beautiful yellow dresses. The celebration commenced by paying obeisance to Goddess Saraswati during the morning assembly. It was followed by divine rendition of ‘Saraswati vandana’ by the student choir. Later, the students made merry by flying colourful kites in the sky. They also relished yellow food items they had brought. “This auspicious festival serves as a reminder of the cyclical nature of life, where the arrival of spring brings forth new beginnings, growth and abundance. Worshipping Goddess Saraswati, embodiment of knowledge and art, inspires learning, creativity, and a fresh start,” said Principal Jaya Bhardwaj, while addressing the students.
