The school organised a comprehensive workshop on creating happy classrooms, focusing on the importance of emotional quotient, self-awareness, and positive relationships in education. The workshop aimed to empower educators with practical strategies to cultivate positive learning environments where students feel safe, engaged, and motivated. The workshop featured resource persons Gazal Betaab Garg, a seasoned educationist with 10 years of experience, and Sangita, a CBSE resource person, skilled in designing competency-based programmes aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP). The workshop on creating happy classrooms emphasised the importance of emotional quotient, self-awareness, and positive relationships in education. Participants learnt strategies for developing self-awareness and self-regulation skills, essential for effective learning and personal growth. Hands-on activities were conducted, creating real-life situations that allowed teachers to discuss classroom challenges and come up with palpable solutions to create a happy and conducive learning environment. Principal Jaya Bhardwaj appreciated the resource persons for conducting a successful session and encouraged the delegates to take the learning to the classroom and make them a happy space for the learners.
