The workshop aimed to empower educators with practical strategies to cultivate positive learning environments where students feel safe, engaged, and motivated. The workshop featured resource persons Gazal Betaab Garg, a seasoned educationist with 10 years of experience, and Sangita, a CBSE resource person, skilled in designing competency-based programmes aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP). The workshop on creating happy classrooms emphasised the importance of emotional quotient, self-awareness, and positive relationships in education. Participants learnt strategies for developing self-awareness and self-regulation skills, essential for effective learning and personal growth. Hands-on activities were conducted, creating real-life situations that allowed teachers to discuss classroom challenges and come up with palpable solutions to create a happy and conducive learning environment. Principal Jaya Bhardwaj appreciated the resource persons for conducting a successful session and encouraged the delegates to take the learning to the classroom and make them a happy space for the learners.
