The school commemorated the martyrdom of the four sons of Guru Gobind Singh with great reverence. The students paid tributes to Baba Ajit Singh, Baba Jujhar Singh, Baba Zorawar Singh, and Baba Fateh Singh through various presentations, including gatka, shabad gyan, poetry recitation, and ‘Mul Mantra’ recitation. Tarandeep, a teacher at the school, enlightened the students about the significance of Shaheedi Diwas and narrated the history behind it. She explained how the two younger sons of Guru Gobind Singh — Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh — were martyred by being bricked alive on the orders of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Principal Harpreet Sodhi highlighted the importance of observing Shaheedi Diwas, stating that it aims to educate children about their rights and safety while sensitising them to their role in society. The event concluded with langar organised by the school community, where milk was distributed to all.
