The observance was marked by various activities aimed at honouring the sacrifices and valour of the Indian armed forces. The student council, various retired armed personnel, school principal, and other staff members of the school visited the Shaheedi Smarak at Pehowa, Kurukshetra, to pay homage to the Indian soldiers who laid down their lives for the nation. The school had the honour of inviting these retired armed forces personnel, who shared their invaluable experiences and insights with the students. The event featured a series of performances by students, showcasing their respect and admiration for the soldiers. Students of classes IX and X presented an informative PowerPoint presentation on the heroic warriors of Kargil, including Captain Vikram Batra, Lieutenant Manoj Kumar Pandey, Grenadier Yogendra Singh Yadav, and Rifleman Sanjay Kumar. Principal Harpreet Sodhi expressed her pride in the students’ efforts and emphasised the importance of remembering and honouring the sacrifices of our soldiers.
