A grand ceremony was organised to elect the new students’ council for the academic year 2022-23 in the auditorium of the school. It commenced with the welcome of Prof RC Lakhanpal, Chairman, along with CP Lakhanpal, Vice-Chairperson, Pankaj Lakhanpal, Director, Naina Lakhanpal, Principal, Dr Himanshu Sharma, Principal Academics, and Shashi Bala, coordinator, of the school. Dr Himanshu Sharma delivered a speech, which is followed by lightning of the lamp, ‘shaloka’ recitation and a mesmerising presentation on Lord Ganesha by students of the school. Abhay Dogra (XII-G), Mayank Rana (XII-I), Tejasvi (XII-G) and Vishal Kumar (XII-G) were elected as captains of Raman, Bose, Bhabha and Aryabhatta houses, respectively. Bhuwan (XII-G) was elected as round square head. Deepali Soni (XII-A) and Advaita Kapil (XII-E) were elected as AFS and NSS heads, respectively. Abhimanyu (XII-B) and Muskan Goel (XII-I) were elected as head and deputy head, respectively, of the IAYP (International Award for Young People). Vishal Pandey of (XII-D) was elected as sports captain. Ayush Bhardwaj (XII-D) and Vanshika Thakur (XII-A) were elected as head of boys’ hostel and girls’ hostel, respectively. Gauri Bragta (XII-C) and Ayushman Lakhanpal (XII-E) were elected as head girl and head boy of the school, respectively. Prof RC Lakhanpal, Chairman of the school, administered the oath to the members of the students’ council.
