The school celebrated an exciting conclusion to the Cock House Championship (Senior) for the 2024-2025 session, where teamwork, excellence, and competitive spirit took centre stage. Students from the four houses — Nehru, Tagore, Teresa, and Gandhi — participated in various competitions, including academics, sports, debates, quizzes, and art contests, etc, all contributing to their house’s total points. The championship culminated with Nehru House emerging as the Overall Champion (Senior), winning the prestigious Cock House Trophy. The award was presented by Director CC Devassy, along with Principal Shiny Devassy, to Nehru House. Activity Coordinator Harpreet Kaur, congratulated all house in-charges, especially the winning team, Nehru House in-charges, Poonam Bhattal and Vandana, for their steadfast guidance and support.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
