City lad Adarsh, aka Addi Sehra, a lyricist, singer and composer, has got a viewership of over 1.35 million of his song “Kamli” on Youtube in just four days after it was posted on Youtube.
Addi made his debut with film “Saanjh” directed by Ajay Saklani when he was just 16 years of age and a Class XII student of Blue Star Senior Secondary School here. He had written two songs for the film, including the title song. “Saanjh” featured actor Asif Batra and Taranjeet Kaur. Before its release on April 14, 2017, the film received the Best Feature Film Award at the Borrego Springs Film Festival held in California, USA. Set in the Kullu valley, “Saanjh” was the journey of Sanju, a 16-year-old city girl, who was a victim of a fake social media post.
Addi has received appreciation for “Kamli”. He had decided to be a lyricist and singer at an early age. He was good at studies but his mother Anubala wanted him to be doctor while his father Jyoti Prakash encouraged him to pursue his passion.
Addi says that he always tries to present the best melody. He adds that “Kamli” was produced by Kartar Films Heliophilia Records and its music was given by Nakkulogic company at Chandigarh. “Kamli” has received a huge response from all age groups, which is encouraging.
