Holy Mary’s School, Banur, conducted its inter-house carrom competition for students of classes VI to VIII. The event brought together young carrom enthusiasts in a spirited contest, held separately for boys and girls. In the girls’ category, Gandhi House took top honours. Navjot Kaur (Class VII A) and Seerat Kaur (Class VIII C) impressed everyone with their steady hands and calm under pressure, securing the first position. Teresa House came second, thanks to the strong performance of Anushka (Class VII A) and Harvir Kaur (Class VII A), who displayed fine teamwork throughout. The boys’ matches were equally engaging. Teresa House captured the first position with remarkable gameplay from Karandeep Singh (Class VIII A) and Ramanpreet Singh (Class VIII B). Nehru House, represented by Gurnoor Singh (Class VIII A) and Yojanjeet Singh (Class VII D), who showcased excellent coordination and strategy, finished second.
