Investiture Ceremony for 2025-26 academic session of AKSIPS-45 Smart School, Chandigarh was held recently. The ceremony began with the symbolic torch lighting and the handing over of house flags to the newly elected house captains, marking the start of their leadership roles. Simran Nayyar was formally inducted as the Head Girl and Sanchit Garg as the Head Boy, along with their council members. They took the oath of office, pledging to uphold the school's values and responsibilities with dedication. The event was attended by the Executive Director Jasdeep Kalra and the school management, who inspired the students to lead with integrity and strive for excellence.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
