The investiture ceremony for the academic year 2025- 26 was held. The event marked the formal installation of the newly elected student council and was a moment of pride and responsibility for them. The ceremony began with a conventional lighting of the lamp and a welcome address by Principal Dr Puja Walia Mann. Badges and sashes were conferred upon the office-bearers who took the oath to serve the school with integrity, dedication, and discipline. The guests of honour, Jagvinder Ranga, Executive Engineer, PWD, and Vandana Dhull, Income Tax Officer, Karnal, both alumni of the school (2007 batch), delivered inspiring speeches urging students to be role models and future leaders.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
