Shivalik Public School, Mohali, conducted its Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025-26. The event began with the auspicious rendition of the school shabad, seeking the Almighty's blessings for the newly elected student council. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of the chief guest, Principal Dr Gurkiranjeet Nalwa. The day's introduction emphasised how the Investiture Ceremony marks the beginning of a journey of service, responsibility and commitment for the council members. The duties of council members were outlined, followed by the citation and pinning of badges by both the Principals, Dr Anupkiran Kaur and Dr Gurkiranjeet Nalwa, to the newly appointed leaders. The council for Session 2025-26 was then formally introduced, with Harshvardhan Singh (Head Boy, XII Comm) and Sana Naher (Head Girl, XII Comm) leading the student body. Supporting them are Gaurav Singh Rana (Deputy Head Boy, XI NM), Ravneet Kaur (Deputy Head Girl, XI NM), Japnoor Kaur Korey (Activity Leader, XI NM), Naitik (Sports Leader, XI Comm), and Preetika Devgan (Transport Leader, XI Comm.), along with the elected House Captains and Prefects. The chief guest congratulated the council members and urged them to be role models for their peers, embodying discipline, sincerity and leadership. She encouraged students to balance academics with co-curricular pursuits to become well-rounded individuals. The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem. The Investiture Ceremony was indeed a memorable event, instilling a spirit of responsibility and leadership among the young Shivalikians.
