The investiture ceremony for the academic session 2025–26 was held at the school. The event marked a defining moment as the newly elected student council took their oaths of office, pledging to uphold the school’s values and serve the student community with dedication. The Head Boy and Head Girl, along with Deputy Heads, House Captains, Vice-Captains, and other council members, were formally invested with badges, signifying the trust and responsibility bestowed upon them. The principal and esteemed guests addressed the gathering, motivating students to grow as leaders and responsible citizens. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks, instilling a spirit of integrity, commitment, and leadership among the young office-bearers.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
