Josephites plant100 hibiscus saplings

St Joseph’s Senior Secondary School, Sector 44, Chandigarh, students in collaboration with five partner government schools launched a noble initiative of planting 100 hibiscus saplings in the Garden of Annuals Part 1, Sector 44. The chief guest was Shipra Bansal, Chairperson, Chandigarh Commission for Protection of Child Rights (CCPCR), and special guests were Kirandeep Singh, SDO, Horticulture, Chandigarh, Ashni Kumar, Executive Engineer, and Navjeet Singh, Junior Engineer. The honour of collaborating with the government schools became a praiseworthy cornerstone in the life of the plantation drive, sending their students not as mere volunteers, but as gentle emissaries of a greener future. Principal Monica Chawla expressed gratitude for the opportunity to be a host of the plantation drive.
