The week-long NSS Special Camp at the school concluded with a positive and spirited valedictory ceremony. Dr Nemi Chand, State Liaison Officer of the NSS Cell, UT Chandigarh, was the chief guest. The programme began with the NSS song, enthusiastically performed by the volunteers, setting the tone for the day. A PowerPoint presentation provided a glimpse into the eventful seven days of the camp. The video of the nukkad natak performed during the camp by volunteers was played, earning much applause from the audience. Yashvee, a volunteer, highlighted the significance of the NSS in a student’s life, while Himani recited a heartfelt poem on its values. Volunteers also presented creative charts addressing various critical issues. Dr Nemi Chand addressed the gathering, motivating the students to carry forward the spirit of the NSS in their future endeavours. He emphasised how the NSS not only shapes individual growth but also contributes to the nation’s development. Titles were awarded to outstanding volunteers in recognition of their efforts. The event concluded on a joyful note with a vote of thanks, marking the successful completion of the camp.
