To enhance the creative skills through a blend of technology, the Cyber Congress Club of the school laid out an array of activities for Tricity schools and all DAV schools for the students of classes VIII-XII. The competition saw exuberance and imagination at work in every piece of art. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to think out of the box. A spate of activities as ‘E-Rivista’, ‘Dive Into Animation’, ‘Mascot Design’, ‘Sandbox’, ‘Cinesta’ and ‘CODE-a-thon’ were conducted. This array of activities provided students a flexible framework to blend artistic excellence with technology in this social media-driven era. ‘Designathon’ saw the participation of 266 students while winners were selected by the jury of Sandeep Joshi, senior cartoonist, The Tribune,. Ruchika Singh, English faculty, Dr Deepti Sharda, computer faculty, Dr Pooja Sharma, fine arts faculty, Dr Preeti Gambhir, HOD, mass communication, MCM DAV College, Vinod Bharti, Assistant Director and lyricist, and Ashish, social media content creator and influencer. The event witnessed the participation of 22 leading schools of Tricity and DAV-14, Gurugram. School Principal Pooja Prakash applauded the constructive role played by the educators and school computer department. She appreciated the students for their enthusiastic and untiring efforts to make the event a success. Winners and participants were awarded with trophies and certificates.
