Around 70 staff members and NSS volunteers from Class XII participated in the International Day of Yoga celebration under the theme "Yoga for the Earth, One Health." Led by yoga instructor Sumit, participants followed the common yoga protocol for 1 hour and 15 minutes. The session included breathing exercises such as Pranayama, warm-up stretches, Tadasana, Bhujangasana, Vajrasana and Shavasana. The meditative environment, enhanced by chanting of OM and the Gayatri Mantra, promoted calmness and inner focus. The event aimed to raise awareness of yoga as a sustainable and holistic practice. Students also participated in various IDY competitions, including a yoga quiz organised by the Ministry of Ayush in collaboration with MyGov.
