Students and teachers of the school fondly remembered Sardar Patel’s vision for the nation by taking a pledge striving towards “Ekta” during morning assembly. All students and teachers also took part in unity run from the school premises to DAH chowk. The students had banners with slogans in their hands which gave valuable message on the importance of united India. Lakshman (PGT, Hindi) and Bhim Sen (PGT, History) highlighted the significance of unity among different sections of the society and also gave insight to the students on the contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in uniting India soon after Independence. A speech competition was organised to commemorate the day in which Anjali, Shrishti, Anushree and Gitika from different houses presented their eloquent and informative speeches on Unity Day. The short yet significant programme etched the spirit of “Ekta” amongst all.
