On Basant Panchami, an idol of Mata Saraswati was unveiled on the newly constructed campus of the school. Jatin Lal, Deputy Commissioner, Una, was the chief guest. Special guests were Varun Mitra, Deputy Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Gurugram Region, and Rajeev Thakur, SDM, Haroli. The idol unveiling was held in the visitor’s gallery of the newly constructed building of the school. The new building of the school resounded with the chanting of mantras. The ‘havan puja’ was also concluded, in which the DC, Una, performed the ‘havan’. A cultural programme was organised by schoolchildren, in which ‘Saraswati vandana’, group dance, welcome song, etc, were performed. Principal Neelam Guleria welcomed the guests by gifting them saplings. At the end of the programme, token of remembrance was presented to all the guests and offerings distributed to all.
