The school celebrated National Space Day with the IIIT-Una. All arrangements were made by the IIIT-Una. The programme was divided into four segments — live telecast of the national programme was shown, video on brief history of the ISRO was shown by B.Tech students, exhibition on the work done by the ISRO and information regarding our galaxy and planets was shown through PPT. Students of KV, Saloh, acquired much knowledge about National Space Day and ISRO. The programme concluded with a quiz competition on MY GOV app. The whole programme was well organised by BTech students. Neelam Gularia, Principal, KV, Saloh, extended her gratitude to the faculty and students of the IIIT-Una.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune, the largest selling English daily in North India, publishes news and views without any bias or prejudice of any kind. Restraint and moderation, rather than agitational language and partisanship, are the hallmarks of the newspaper. It is an independent newspaper in the real sense of the term.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
