The annual programme of Kids ‘R’ Kids Secondary School, Chandigarh, "Ancient Shores to Global Doors," was a grand celebration of India's rich educational heritage and its evolution over time. The event showcased the transformation of India's education system, from the ancient Gurukul traditions and the intellectual glory of Takshashila and Nalanda to the British colonial reforms and the progressive vision of NEP 2020. Through a series of performances and presentations, the students highlighted the significance of India's ancient universities, temples as centers of learning, and the impact of colonialism on the education system. The programme concluded with a STEAM performance, blending science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics, symbolising India's reawakening and its blend of traditional wisdom with modern innovation. Principal Anupam Grewal praised the students' creative brilliance and emphasised the importance of embracing India's educational roots while moving forward globally.
