The school hosted the ‘KRK Sports Fest 2025’ marking an exhilarating day filled with sportsmanship, energy, and teamwork from Play Class to Grade II. The event showcased the young learners’ enthusiasm and dedication towards physical fitness and friendly competition. Students from across the Tricity registered for the event and participated in various races. The proceedings began with an official welcome note, followed by the grand opening ceremony, where chief guest Dr Mahender Singh, Joint Director, Department of Sports, Chandigarh Administration, and Principal of Government College of Yoga Education and Health, Sector 23-A, Chandigarh, officially declared the meet open. The march past was followed by a welcome song. The Principal’s address emphasised the crucial role of physical education in early childhood. The prize distribution ceremony acknowledged the outstanding performances of the students, with each participant receiving a token of appreciation. The day concluded with the rendition of the national anthem, followed by the vote of thanks.
