The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan has announced to open a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Yamunanagar district.
The school will come up in Hadtaul village of the Bilaspur subdivision, but for the time being, the classes will be conducted at Aheadwala village until a building of the school is built in Hadtaul village.
The development has been welcomed by Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal Gujjar and residents of the district.
As per an order issued by DE Prabhakar, Joint Commissioner (Administration) on May 24, the classes will start from the current academic session 2021-2022.
For the current academic session, the admission shall be conducted for Classes I to V and the authorities concerned have been asked to complete the process of admission within 30 days after the issuance of this order.
“It is a big achievement. It will be the first Kendriya Vidyalaya in Yamunanagar district. This school will come up in Hadtaul village, but, now, the classes will be conducted in Aheadwala village, until a building of the school is built in Hadtaul village,” said Mukul Kumar, Deputy Commissioner.
Haryana Education Minister, Kanwar Pal Gujjar thanked Union Minister of Education, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank and tweeted, “Thank you very much that our district received the gift of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Bilaspur.”
This development has brought happiness among the residents of Hadtaul village.
“We are happy that Kendriya Vidyalaya is being opened in our village. This school will help in providing better education to the children of this area and the district,” said Mohinder Singh, sitting sarpanch of Hadtaul village.
